01. What is the TWU Alumni Association?

The TWU Alumni Association is an independent society incorporated to serve the TWU alumni at both the graduate and undergraduate level. It is governed by a board of directors made up of TWU alumni and acts in partnership with the University (as an agent) to provide services to all alumni of the school.

05. I've lost touch with old friends from TWU. Can the TWU Alumni Association help me find them?

Due to our privacy policy, Trinity Western University is unable to release the contact information of graduates. However, by becoming a member of the TWU Alumni Association you will have access to a directory of other members. Additionally, the TWU Alumni Facebook group, with over 1,700 members, can be a great way to search for old friends from TWU.

06. Where can I buy diploma frames, crested sweatshirts, or other souvenirs of my university days?

Diploma frames, T-shirts, and other memorabilia can be purchased through the University Bookstore.

07. I'm visiting from out-of-town. Could you suggest accommodations near the campus?

TWU is proud to offer accommodations on campus to alumni who would like to stay in a hotel-style room. Please visit twu.ca/conferences for more info.

Career Development Office - Advising Services Discount

TWU’s Career Development Office, located in the Reimer Student Centre, welcomes alumni to make complementary appointments. The advisors have master’s-level training in counselling psychology and offer professional assistance.

09. How many alumni are there?

There are approximately 11,000 graduated alumni (those with degree's from TWU), and an additional 12,000 "former student" alumni (those with 15 credit hours or more, but who do not have a degree from TWU).

10. What are the definitions of alumnus, alumni, alumna, and alumnae?

From the Canadian Oxford Dictionary:

  • Alumnus: a graduate of a specified university or other school
  • Alumni: plural of alumnus
  • Alumna: a female graduate of a specific university or other school
  • Alumnae: plural of alumna
  • Alumni is also an accepted form for the plural of both female and male graduates
