Event: Trinity Western University’s department of music invites the public to enjoy the music of renowned B.C. vocalist George Roberts in the opening concert of TWU’s fourth annual Chapel, Court and Countryside Series. Roberts, who will be the feature performer, was a frequent soloist in concert, on recordings and in CBC radio broadcasts during his thirteen seasons with the Vancouver Chamber Choir. He performed with the a cappella quartet “Fourtissimo” for 10 years, specializing in vocal jazz and renaissance repertoire. His vocal talents have also taken him to perform with the Vancouver Symphony, Masterpiece Music and for many Lower Mainland community organizations. Pianist David Vandereyk will join Roberts in a concert featuring “Songs of Travel” by Ralph Vaughan Williams.
