TWU to host public forum on First Nations issues

Event: On Oct. 10, a panel of experts will discuss First Nations issues at Trinity Western University, in an event that is open to the public. The book Nation to Nation will be released at the event, which is sponsored by TWU’s Lester B. Pearson Society and the departments of political science and history at TWU, as well as Citizens for Public Justice. Nation to Nation, edited by John Bird, Lorraine Land and Murray MacAdam, includes perspectives of both Aboriginal and non-aboriginal peoples, offering historical background on Aboriginal issues, outlining current developments and making future recommendations for responses of justice and equality. The event will include a reception, panel discussion, and question and answer period. Admission is free.
