Chapel, Court and Countryside Concert Series presents: “Answer back dialogues and duets"

Opera lovers will be both entertained and delighted by the formal approach to the music of TWU's first Chapel Court and Countryside performance of the school year. On Sunday, November 3rd, at 2:30pm in the Calvin B. Hanson Chapel at TWU, guests are invited to attend “Answer back dialogues and duets”.
Featured soloists include TWU's mezzo-soprano, Caroline Harder and baritone, Dale Thorness, who will be performing duets by Brahms, Purcell, Bissell, Johnson and Faure.
Caroline Harder, a music instructor at TWU, is a National winner of the BC Festival of the Arts. Harder holds a Bachelor and Masters of Music degree in Vocal Performance from the University of Western Washington and is pursuing D.M.A. studies at UBC. At TWU she teaches Vocal Pedagogy and Vocal Literature, but on her own time Harder has performed with prestigious Choral, Operatic and Orchestral organizations, including Tacoma Opera, Vancouver Handel Society, Vancouver Bach Choir, and Albert Schweitzer Chamber Choir in Budapest, Hungary.
Dale Thorness, a Vancouver resident and former TWU faulty member, is a familiar soloist to the Lower Mainland who now uses his talents to lead singing, as well at a local church and teaches in his private studio.
