Marilyn Crone appointed to consulting contract for university operations at Trinity Western University

In her expanded scope of services, Crone will provide consulting leadership to operational areas that include financial services, information technology, campus services and ancillaries. Her continuing enrolment management duties include consulting leadership to admissions (undergraduate and graduate), admission data services and financial aid. She will also assist the President in developing a new Chief Operating Officer position that will complete his senior administrative team.

Crone's background is varied with work in senior levels ranging from financial institutions to higher education. She worked as a senior executive with what is now Bank of America for over 15 years and was an instrumental leader at Baylor University (her alma mater) in Waco, TX for almost 8 years. During her time at Baylor, the institution saw an impressive increase in enrolment. Marilyn has consulted with other organizations since leaving Baylor, including eight months in 2006 focused on launching enrolment efforts at Quest University Canada, a new university which is slated to open in Squamish, BC in fall of 2007.

Raymond says, “I'm extremely pleased to have Marilyn continue her consulting here at Trinity Western University. Marilyn's expertise will help ensure that Trinity Western University is utilizing best practices appropriate for an organization that seeks to give godly and creative stewardship to its resources.”
