Trinity Western University mourns with community at Virginia Tech

TWU recognizes the long standing tradition of excellence that Virginia Tech is known for in its engineering, computing and communications.

“We, as a community, are shocked and saddened by the horrific tragedy that has unfolded at Virginia Tech,” says TWU's President Dr. Jonathan Raymond. “Our hearts and prayers go out to the students, staff, faculty and families whose lives will be forever changed by this terrible tragedy and for our American students on campus who are also suffering and may have friends, family or associates at Virginia Tech.”

Student Ministries invites the campus community to a special prayer time in response to the events at Virginia Tech at 12:00pm, Wednesday April 18th in the Atrium. The Wellness Centre also encourages individuals wishing support during this difficult time to visit one of its counselors.
