Walk of Faith
Our Alumni Relations department has promoted, in conjunction with the TWU Alumni Association, the development of a commemorative walkway, known as the TWU Walk of Faith. The concept called for a system of sidewalks and various small plazas inlaid with bricks. The bricks were to be engraved with the names of TWU alumni and friends of the University. We are now ready to lay the first of the engraved bricks…
I invite you to join with the campus community on Friday, August 21, 1998, for a brief ceremony to dedicate the first bricks in the TWU Walk of Faith…
While the ceremony will be brief, the lasting walkway being dedicated that day will be an important legacy to our TWU alumni and will symbolize the faith journey taken by the University’s founders.

'Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfector of our faith.' Hebrews 12: 1-2." Photograph ca. 1997.
