Christian Business Faculty Association 2012 Conference

CBFA - Banner v1The School of Business at Trinity Western University is honored to host the 2012 Christian Business Faculty Association (CBFA) Annual Conference in Langley, British Columbia on June 25 – 28, 2012. The conference theme is LEADING THE WAY. The conference logo is an Inukshuk – this is a Canadian Aboriginal symbol that is created by piling stones in the shape of a person to indicate that someone has been here or to provide direction to others indicating that they are on the right path. These stone statues are similar in intent to the Ebenezer stones of the Old Testament, indicating God’s presence and His provision of help. We as Christian business faculty regularly demonstrate, through our scholarship and teaching, the right path to follow as we develop the future business leaders of the global marketplace. This conference will focus on how we can best LEAD THE WAY and continue the CBFA legacy of creating and placing the stones on the path of Christian faith integration in the business disciplines.

This will be the second year of providing the conference in the summer time. The intent is to make the conference more affordable by holding the conference on the host school’s campus, as well as providing campus housing. Also holding the conference in the summer allows for more time for academic presentations, networking, relaxation and fun. As you can see by the conference schedule we are including within the schedule several opportunities for business tours, fun activities, and time for discovering downtown Vancouver.
