Co-Op Work Term

Each work term represents 400 to 640 hours of discipline-related work that may be fulfilled through one or a combination of the following options:

  • Traditional full-time Co-op placement during an academic semester or the summer;
  • 12 to 20-month full-time Co-op internship.

Depending on career goals and availability of assignments, students may work for one employer or a number of organizations throughout the duration of their Co-op program.
These options allow students to customize a Co-op program to fit their goals and the needs of interested organizations.
