Dorothy Peters
Dorothy M. Peters, Ph.D., is the author of Noah Traditions in the Dead Sea Scrolls: Conversations and Controversies of Antiquity and is on faculty at Trinity Western University in Langley, British Columbia. Recently, she was awarded a two year postdoctoral fellowship funded by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada for her work on "The Languages of Hospitality and Violence Concerning the Outsider: Multilingual Conversations in the Dead Sea Scrolls." She is conducts her research within the Dead Sea Scrolls Institute at Trinity Western University. When not on the university campus, Dorothy resides with her husband on Mayne Island in the British Columbia Gulf Islands, reading and writing under her own vines and fig tree.
