Biography

Andrea Soberg is the Dean of the School of Business and has worked for TWU since 1999. She is also an Associate Professor, leading the HR Management specialization in the BBA program. In addition to her work at TWU, she continues to run People First Consulting where she works with organizations, in both the private and public sector, assisting them in becoming more productive and profitable through effective planning and use of their people. She has been a presenter at national conferences and has taught at the Business Schools at the University of Toronto, the University of Victoria and Camosun College.

Ms. Soberg is the author of several articles in field of human resources and has published a hands-on book entitled Human Resource Planning: An Introduction.  She is currently writing a textbook on Strategic Planning for the Human Resource. She holds a Master of Industrial Relations degree from the University of Toronto,  a Bachelor of Arts degree from Simon Fraser University, and has the professional certification for  human resources, Certified Human Resource Professional.
