Biography
Diane Froese received an undergraduate degree, Bachelor of Sacred Music (BSM) at Canadian Bible College and then graduated with a Masters of Religious Education (MRE) degree from Canadian Theological Seminary. Diane continued her studies and completed the A.T.C.L. and Licentiate degrees from Trinity College, England.
During her 14 years of teaching piano at TWU, she has encouraged students in a variety of styles of music, including classical, popular, contemporary and traditional worship styles, improvisation and playing by ear.
With 30 years of teaching experience in piano and theory, she has taught privately, and at various colleges, public schools and music academies.
She has toured Europe, US and Canada with Continental Singers and various other music teams.
Regular involvement on church worship teams, accompanying various musicals at the Arts Centre for 10 years (Fiddler on the Roof, Showboat, West Side Story, Beauty and the Beast, Oliver, Sound of Music and many more …); performing in exclusive public and private dining facilities; as well as for many other events, have kept her diversified and “in touch” with the practical world of music.
Diane and her husband Garth live in Abbotsford and have two sons.
