He is currently Assistant Professor of Business at Mount Olive College where he was nominated for Teacher of the Year in 2006. He also teaches graduate and undergraduate courses in management, leadership, innovation, strategic management and organizational change for Judson College, University of Phoenix, Keller Graduate School of Management and Trinity Western University.

Prior to becoming a professor and consultant, he developed and managed nonprofit enterprises that provided employment for people with disabilities. He has more than fifteen years of experience leading people and organizations.

He earned a doctor of management degree in organizational leadership from the University of Phoenix. He also has a master's degree in counseling psychology from the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee and a bachelor's degree in psychology from Judson College.
