Graduates with Geography degrees are in high demand and work in a wide array of fields. Geography students bring a wide range of highly desirable computer, research and analytical skills to the job market.
Significant employment opportunities exist within government, teaching, business, and in private sector consulting. The reason for this wide range of opportunities and demand for trained geographers in the workplace is the unique spatial perspective and range of skills the geography graduate has to offer.

We offer courses in physical, human and cultural, and regional and applied areas of Geography leading to a B.A. in Geography. We also offer a B.A. and a B.Sc. within the Environmental Studies program.
Our facilities include a dedicated Geographic Information Systems (GIS) computer laboratory for social and environmental research, a fully-equipped Dendrochronology (tree-ring) laboratory for biophysical research and a full suite of field equipment such as weather sensors and GPS receiver for use in research and instructional labs.
