N. T. Wright's Distinguished Lecturer Series

Trinity Western University was pleased to welcome Dr. N. T. Wright, prominent New Testament scholar and Bishop in the Church of England, on November 16-17, 2010, for the Distinguished Lecturer Series. Professor Wright has authored over 60 books for both scholarly and popular audiences.

In addition to speaking to TWU students at two Chapels, Professor Wright gave a Public Lecture and participated in a special, three-hour Symposium with the Faculty of Religious Studies and invited guest scholars.

The University Distinguished Lecturer Series is designed to introduce students and the general public to some of the most profound Christian thinkers of our time.

In the Symposium, more opportunity was given for engagement, dialogue, and investigation of ideas presented by Professor Wright, as members of the Department of Religious Studies and invited scholars responded to Professor Wright’s work. Plans are under way to collect the presentations from the Symposium into a published volume.
