MA Leadership in Social Media

Facebook reports that as of March 2010, it has more then 400 million active users, and the average user spends 55 minutes a day on the social networking site. Twitter’s most recent member newsletter states that in the course of a year, registered accounts have grown by more than 1,500%. Social networking sites have become the platform that many businesses, non-profits, and even the White House have chosen for publicity and communication. Users are able to convey pertinent bites of information with an endless network of potential customers, donors, or friends.

The MA Leadership degree invites you to become both a fan of our Facebook page Master of Arts, Leadership, TWU and a follower of the program on Twitter: MALeadershipTWU. The MA Leadership program uses these sites to remind students of scholarship deadlines, convey course registration information, share office updates, remind potential students of application deadlines, and so much more.

The MA Leadership program boasts a large worldwide family. Students, faculty, and alumni hail from as close as Abbotsford, BC, and as far as Beijing, China. Both Twitter and Facebook allow the office in Langley, BC to connect with and effectively update our family across the globe.
