Unlike a strictly online programs, the MA Leadership program incorporates interactive and experiential learning in the form of consecutive two week sessions during the summers. Students spend a total of four weeks on campus in either July or August. The summer sessions are a great opportunity to establish valuable professional and personal connections with your classmates and faculty. The result is a relational foundation, the benefits of which you'll experience throughout the program. The Master of Arts in Leadership has combined the best of both worlds: face-to-face and online teaching. We want to maximize your learning without monopolizing your time with our leadership degree.
Two unique features that contribute to your leadership intelligence are the Challenge Course and Collegium.
Located amidst old-growth trees on our campus, the TWU Challenge Course is renowned as one of the best in the Pacific Northwest. The University of British Columbia, Simon Fraser University, Obie Media, and the Royal Bank head office are just a few of the prestigious institutions and organizations that have benefited from the teamwork and trust building programs that the course offers. The activities focus on developing leadership, teamwork, trust, planning, risk taking, goal setting, and the ability to adapt to change.
COLLEGIUMSIn Latin collegium means "gathering place." For graduate leadership students during summer sessions its that and more. Enjoy the benefits of a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, high-speed personal computers, toasty fireplace, comfy chairs, great art, and of course, connecting with the graduate community. |
