The major project consists of 6 credit hours of work, and represents the final demonstration of student ability to integrate practical program curriculum content.

The leadership program places predominant emphasis on leadership best practices development and practical integration of new knowledge. Accordingly, we focus the major project on the need to integrate practical knowledge through an applied project. Preferably, this applied project consists of some project relevant to the employer.

Although the major project paper is not a thesis, we do require competent use of new knowledge, an ability to research an issue and demonstrate needed discipline in the problem-solving process, and quality documentation and presentation of information. Students need to demonstrate competent command of the English language.

BUSINESS Leadership STREAM

Karen J. Hall"The TWU MAL program is a high quality learning experience in all respects—curriculum design, learning materials, hands-on experience and interaction with instructors and students. I found it both intellectually stimulating and personally challenging, and it has had a huge lasting impact on my subsequent development and career growth. I also enjoy staying in touch with the MAL alumni, an ever-growing resource network of dynamic leaders with servant hearts."
