Transfer Credit - MA Leadership

Transfer of credit may be approved by the program director according to the transfer credit policy. Contact your stream coordinator to discuss your options. The program director's decision is final. Transfer credit applications should be submitted and approved prior to starting the program, but no later than the end of the first summer semester. Transfer Credit Policy

1) At most 3 sem. hrs. of course work can be transferred into the MA Leadership program.

2) Courses approved for transfer credit must be graduate level ones taken at an accredited post-secondary institution, with a minimum B- grade.

3) Normally, transfer credit will not be granted for courses that would replace one of the foundational courses.

4) Courses granted transfer credit into the MA Leadership program normally are ones that enable students to pursue a particular aspect of leadership not offered in TWU's program. Such courses will be based on and deal with a leadership conception consistent with servant leadership as it applies to the issues under consideration. Under special circumstances transfer credit may be granted for courses that are deemed to be equivalent to one of the stream courses.

6) Credit transfers should be approved prior to the start of the program, but no later than at the completion of the first summer semester.
