Athletic Therapy
This is a prescriptive stream with a narrow focus of becoming a professional in sport injury prevention, acute sport injury care and/or sport injury rehabilitation. Designed for students who want to become certified as an athletic therapist with the Canadian Athletic Therapy Association, this degree program requires students to spend one year in intensive training in athletic therapy at Mount Royal College in Calgary, usually in the third year. Students then return to TWU for the final year of the degree. The application deadline for the Athletic Therapy program is December 1st each year.
