This unique Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree is comprised of:

• a basic life sciences core, offered primarily by the Departments of Biology and Chemistry
• business courses offered by the School of Business
• biotechnology courses that provide an understanding of the component technologies together with their applications
• Intern and paid co-op placements in within North America provide hands-on, supervised work experiences.

Standard entry requirements for medical school and other professional schools are met while Biotechnology courses provide an understanding of key applications in health care, agriculture, forestry, food processing, and the environment.

The TWU program approaches ethical concerns from both a scientific and theological perspective enabling students to contribute reasoned, ethical interpretations to the discourse of the biotechnology marketplace.
