Multidisciplinary Degree Title

This multidisciplinary B.Sc. major includes a double concentration in biotechnology and chemistry with calculus mathematics/statistics and physics as ancillaries. The program provides a solid science background and is intended for students interested in a scientific career in biotechnology. For students interested in graduate school, completion of a major in either biotechnology or chemistry is recommended. 

Requirements for Multidisciplinary B.Sc. Degree

1. Admission into the Multidisciplinary Biotechnology Chemistry program requires a minimum overall GPA of 2.0 over the first semester of study in a science program (e.g., BIOL 113, CHEM 111, MATH 123 or 105, ENGL 103, UNIV 101) with a minimum GPA of 2.5 in all science courses. Graduation requires a minimum of C for all courses and an overall GPA of 2.5 for all science courses.

2. A total of 122 sem. hrs. plus 2 co-op placements must be completed.
