Trace Elements art exhibit at the Fort Gallery
Recent work by SAMC Art + Design faculty Doris Auxier and Edith Krause is currently on exhibit at the Fort Gallery until December 4.
The barely-there forests in Auxier’s paintings and microscopic worlds in Krause’s woodcuts and screenprints speak to nature as essential to human health. The exhibit, Trace Elements, explores the intersection between human occupation and wilderness, challenging our understanding of wilderness and our rights and responsibilities within the environment.
The gallery is open Wednesday through Sunday, noon to 4pm. All are warmly welcome to view and celebrate the work of TWU's distinguished faculty.
