The General Biology Emphasis allows a student the opportunity of further study in two areas of Biology. In council with an advisor the student can tailor their studies towards particular interests and goals.         

Specific Requirements

18 semester hours of 300 or 400 level Biology courses to be selected in consultation with a Biology advisor from two of the following subdisciplines: Botany, Ecology, Genetic and Molecular Biology, Microbiology and Immunology, Physiology, or Zoology.  The 18 semester hours cannot include courses taken already as specific Biology requirement.
