If you live in Alberta, you may qualify for loan funding through the Alberta Student Loan Program.
Alberta Learning will assess your application.
You can check on the status of your loan application at www.alis.gov.ab.ca (click on Students Finance, then Student Funding Inquiry System).
If approved, your loan documents will be mailed to your home address. Send your loan documents to TWUs Financial Aid office (or bring them in person) for signing.
After your documents have been signed by a TWU representative, take them to a participating Canada Post outlet.
Approximately ten business days after you take your documents to the Post Office, your loan funds will be deposited into your student account at TWU.
Fax a copy of your Loan Confirmation (please include your TWU ID#) to the Registrar's Office at 604.513.2096. Even though the actual loan will not arrive until the beginning of the semester, you can use your loan confirmation toward your first payment. For more details on how to make payment, contact email@example.com.
If you have a credit balance in your student account once your fees are paid for the semester, you may request a refund cheque from the Registrar's Office.
