Current Students

Those whose most recent education is high school, including Running Start.

Semester Hour Scale: The amounts above are based on a full course load (15 semester hours). If a student takes 16 semester hours, these awards would increase by 1/15th. If a student takes 14 semester hours, these awards would decrease by 1/15th. All other awards do not increase or decrease based on semester hours.

When you register for classes for any semester, your award package will be updated to reflect any changes. 12 semester hours remains the minimum to receive Financial Aid from TWU.

Eligibility: Students whose most recent education is high school and pursuing full-time studies (at least 12 semester hours per semester) at TWU.Transfer students see below.

Renewal: Students must re-apply for academic scholarships each year. A cumulative GPA of 3.5 must be maintained to renew President's Scholarship, and a cumulative GPA of 3.0 must be maintained to renew Provost's Scholarship and Dean's Scholarship. Students are eligible for scholarships and grants beyond their fourth year if necessary.

Deadline: Students who apply for admission before February 28 will receive priority for funding.

Transfer Students

Those who transferred from another college or university.

2009-2010 TWU Grant

Amount: The value of the grant is based on variety of factors including your personal and family (if a dependent) financial situation.  The criteria used to evaluate financial need is set by StudentAid BC.
