Welcome and congratulations to the 393 new members of the TWU Alumni family! Graduation weekend was a wonderful time for all, and now the class of 2010 has been released into the job market. We wish them all the best as they move forward and impact their culture.
This weekend also marks our fiscal year end at Trinity Western University. It has been a trying time for educational institutions worldwide, but we at TWU give thanks to God for his faithfulness throughout the last year. It is in challenging times when the Lord loves to show His strength! We are children in His family, and we know that He cares deeply for us. When we put our trust in Him, great things happen. I consider these difficult economic times a wonderful opportunity to put James 1 into practice: "Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything."
We are on a journey to becoming "mature" and "complete." Praise the Lord. We welcome you to come on this journey with us, in whatever way you choose. Regardless of how the journey goes, we know the destination, and it is good.
May God richly bless you in all that you do!
