Alumni News & Updates

October 2008

Greetings Alumni,

It is with great joy that I can finally announce, “The Magazine is coming! The Magazine is coming!”

It has been almost two-and-a-half years since we had an issue of the TWU Magazine, so I am anticipating this new issue will be welcomed with open arms.

You will be happy to know that there are a record number of alumni updates in this issue, so be sure to check your class year and see what your peers are doing.

We are already working on Issue 16 which will arrive in March 2009, so if you would like your update to be in it, please send your submissions to alumni@twu.ca as soon as possible.

If you haven’t booked off November 7th & 8th for Alumni Weekend ‘08, please do so. It would be great to see the campus full of alumni for that weekend. We have lots of things planned, and TWU is hosting the Women’s soccer Nationals on the same weekend so you will see some of the best soccer in Canada played right here on TWU soil!

Congratulations to Mariel Williams, last month’s Trivia winner. There were 85 guests of TWU on the cruise to Alaska.

This month's Trivia Question: How many issues of the TWU Magazine have been published PRIOR to this October’s issue? Be the 11th alumni to email the answer to alumni@twu.ca

Senior Vice President for Administration and Resources, Dale Clark adds, "We recognize the value of maintaining a sustainable salmon habitat and are pleased to be able to partner with the Department of Fisheries and Oceans and the Ministry of Environment on this very important environmental issue.
