Alumni News & Updates

September 2009

Greetings Alumni,

I trust that each of you has had a great summer and is ready for an exciting fall, filled with TWU events and activities!

There are so many upcoming events, that I would like to highlight some of them here, and you can read about them in more detail below.

ReUnite Luncheons start up once again in September with a great lineup of guest speakers.

On September 20, the President's Office will be hosting the Calvin B. Hanson Chapel Land Dedication Service. All alumni are invited to attend the service in which Dr. Calvin B. Hanson himself will be preaching. More details on the Alumni website.

Be sure to check out the details of the next Alumni Lifelong Learning Cruise to the Caribbean! We will be honoured to have TWU President, Dr. Jonathan Raymond and special guest speaker, Dr. Paul Chamberlain.

As we move into the busy season at TWU, please take the time to pray for the incoming students, TWU staff and faculty, as well as the leadership team, headed up by our President.

May the Lord continue to richly bless Trinity Western University!

Blessings,

Only the strong succeed, giving up things like Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, videogames, television and movies. Doede says that out of a typical class of 35 only about 12 seek the challenge, and by the end of the semester only four to six are still "media abstinent." Read more...
