Guest Speaker: Paul Gleeson
In 2003, Paul Gleeson who hails from Limerick, Ireland cycled 5,000km across Australia from Perth to Sydney for an Australian charity, World Vision. Paul’s Canadian girlfriend Tori Holmes accompanied him on the trip organizing all the fundraising and PR for this journey, which resulted in them raising over AUS $400,000 for World Vision. Fast forward to 2006, Paul & Tori rowed 3,000 miles across the Atlantic Ocean in a 24ft wooden rowing boat. Not only did this pair complete the race but they also finished ahead of Olympic and World Champion rowers.
