Come out to a Lions game at Empire Field for $35, and stick around after for a Starfield concert, and testimonies from Wally Buono, and Mark Washington. rsvp with Christie Buono at cbuono@bclions.com, or call 604-930-5456.

12 (Sunday) Women's Alumni Volleyball reunion

Come for a great afternoon of volleyball as you get aquainted with the new Spartan team for the 2010-2011 season. There will be a time for introductions and catching up with old friends and then over to the gym for some mixed scrimmage time and maybe a set or two of vets vs. rookies! Then pizza after to top it off! Feel free to bring kids and husbands too!

San Francisco Alumni, come meet Dave Swan, Director of Alumni and Brian Kerr, Director of Admissions at Trinity Western University, as they host a TWU Alumni reception in San Francisco, California.

When: Friday, September 17 from 6:30pm to 10:00pm

What: Reception with coffee and dessert

29 (Wednesday) TWU Alumni gathering at the Laurentian Leadership Centre (Ottawa)

TWU's Alumni Director Dave Swan and TWU Impact Coordinator Jocelyn Durston (LLC alum, fall '03) will be hosting an informal TWU alumni social mixer. Come on out for a fun evening of hanging at the Booth Mansion and hear about exciting new alumni initiatives. Refreshments will be served.

Shawn Neumann

Shawn Neumann is an entrepreneur, a nationally recognized speaker, and a British Columbia tech leader. After obtaining a degree in economics and history from Simon Fraser University, Shawn founded Domain7 (www. domain7.com) as a home-based business in 1996. After dodging the dot.com crash in 2000 by finding niche ways to help online companies with their unique problems and challenges, the business leader grew Domain7 into what it is today – an international web agency that provides a complete range of web solutions and services for its clients.

Shawn will be talking about "Responsible Enterprise – Why Non-Profits Are Essential to Your Business"

Ceilidh Beck

NCCP Level 3 (Soccer), SCS (Sport Conditioning Specialist): Coach Ceilidh has been in the field of sport conditioning for 8 years. After completing her degree in Human Kinetics at Trinity Western University and five years of varsity soccer, she worked with Twist Conditioning Inc. for four years. During her time at Twist Conditioning, she trained a variety of athletes: professional and elite hockey (male & female), national/professional & NCAA Div. 1 soccer (male & female), professional cyclist (Svien Tuft-2007 US Open Championships 1st – 2007, UCI Americas Tour Champion 1st – 2007 , 2nd in World Time Trials), national level netball (female), university football, university rugby, basketball, cross-country mountain bikers, lacrosse, ringette, rowers, competitive swimmers, racquetball, mountaineer, and the list of recreational athletes goes on.

Ceilidh will be talking on 'Fitness for a busy life'.
