May 14, 2008 - Alumni Dessert & Theatre Evening

Pacific Theatre presented "You Can't Take It With You" to over 60 alumni in Vancouver. What great mingling we had over delicious cheesecake and an array of warm beverages!

 

 

May 31, 2008 - TWU Alumni L.A. BBQ & Basball Bash

A fellow alumnus hosted a BBQ fit for kings! We then carpooled to the Anaheim Angels and watched them win!

 

 

June 18, 2008 - Networking Luncheon with Guest Speaker

Bob Kuhn, the lawyer to win TWU university status, had a compelling talk to a sold-out lunch audience.

July 6, 2008 - Calgary Stampede & Round-Up Lunch at Ed's

From a pancake breakfast to dizzy rides to a grreat "round-up" lunch at Ed's Restaurant - Calgarians proved they know how to enjoy a rodeo!

 

August 10-17, 2008 - The Alumni Alaskan Cruise

The Alumni Alaskan Cruise with Guest Speakers Dr. Peter Flint & Dr. Jonathan Raymond.

 

 

 

 

August 20, 2008 - Networking Luncheon with Guest Speaker

James Woller, co-author of "The Skill" & Manager of Strategic Planning and Business Development for Bulembu International spoke on assisting an African country grow economically.

 

August 22, 2008 - CPSY 15 Year Celebration & Alumni Reunion
Starting with a patio reception, alumni mingled together and shared updates. We then had an engaging program with a full-course meal and celebration cake to top it off!

 

August 26, 2008 - Alumni Evening at the Lake
We started with a bocce ball game with the men narrowly winning over the girls. Then we ate delicious chicken donated from Rossdown Farms and jumped onto the Tige boat for wake boarding and tubing! We ended the evening with door prizes and a lively discussion about TWU professors!

 

September 1, 2008 - Alumni Return to TWU, Ice Cream Social
Over 50 alumni returned to TWU for this great event - starting with speaking to freshman about their experiences and advice, then gathering together for an ice cream social, and finally, Dave and Danaya MacDonald hosted a wrap-up BBQ at their place!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

September 27, 2008 - 60s, 70s, & 80s Alumni Reunion in Calgary
Alumni gathered at the home of alum, Dr. Trey Petty, for an evening of connections, a beautifully catered dinner, and viewing of a reunion video. The event was hosted by Shirley Thiessen, TWU Alberta Representative.

October 4, 2008 - Past President's Dinner
A time with the current TWUSA members to meet past presidents and vice presidents.

October 18, 2008 - Women's Alumni Basketball vs. Current Spartans team
This event was successfully lead by Jamie Born and turned out to be a great competitive and fun event!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

November 7 & 8, 2008 - Alumni Weekend, 1998 Reunion
A great time was had by all over chilli and buns in the Marlie Snider Collegium

 

 

 

December 4-11, 2008 - Alumni Habitat for Humanity Project
25 Alumni and staff went to Hawaii to give back - what an experience!

 

January 31, 2009 - School of Business & Accounting Alumni Canucks Game
A mash up of current students and alumni - what a great time to form mentorships!

 

February 5, 2009 - TWU Career Fair
Alumni and students were invited to attend the 3rd Annual fair where 46 exhibitors sought employees.

Pacific Theatre presented "You Still Can't" - alumni and friends enjoys a chocolate fountain reception before the performance.  

 

August 28 & 29, 2009 - Class of 1999 - 10 Year Reunion 
What a fantastic weekend with alumni travelling from California, Ontario and Africa to be there!
