SEATTLE – The Trinity Western cross country teams kicked off the 2014 season with an impressive showing at the University of Washington’s Sundodger Invitational, with Sarah Inglis (Falkirk, Scotland) leading the way on the women’s side with a second place showing in the invitational race and Joel De Schiffart (Nanaimo, B.C.) finishing amongst the best in the men’s open race as he finished a team-leading eighth Saturday at Lincoln Park.

LANGLEY, British Columbia – Entering their fifth year competing in Canada West and the CIS, the Trinity Western cross country teams are once again looking to take that next step forward as they aim to continue to compete right alongside the best in Canada. With both teams possessing as much talent as the Spartans have ever seen, there’s no reason to believe this year’s teams can’t continue to push into the upper echelon of the CIS.

LANGLEY, British Columbia – Trinity Western’s Alison Jackson (Vermilion, Alta.) once again proved her mettle on the international stage as the Spartans track and field and cross country standout finished second in the 2014 ITU World Triathlon Age Group Sprint Championship Friday before finishing 24th overall in the Age Group Standard Championship Monday in Edmonton.
