FARKASH FINISHES AMONGST TOP 50 WOMEN IN VANCOUVER SUN RUN

VANCOUVER, British Columbia – Trinity Western track and cross country runner and swimmer Alison Farkash posted a personal best Vancouver Sun Run time of 39:14 Sunday as she was the 42nd woman overall to cross the finish line, and seventh amongst women aged 19-24, in the 10 km event.

LANGLEY, British Columbia – The Trinity Western Spartans are back at the CIS cross country championships for the first time since 2002 as they will race in Sherbrooke, Que. this Saturday. The Spartans six-runner men’s team will compete in the 10km event while the two-runner women’s team will compete in the 5km event.

LANGLEY, British Columbia – The Trinity Western Spartans cross country team is now just days away from taking their first steps on the trails of Langley and beyond. Spartans technical director Susan Northey announced the team’s practice schedule Wednesday with the first crack at the paths on Thursday, Sep. 9 at 3:45 p.m. at the Soccer Fieldhouse Classroom.

LANGLEY, British Columbia – Trinity Western University track and cross country coach Sue Northey helped lead Canada’s middle distance team to an impressive medal haul that included three gold medals, one silver and one bronze at the NACAC (North American, Central American, and Caribbean Athletic Association) U23 Championships in Miramar, Florida this past weekend (July 9-11).
