SPARTANS ANNOUNCE CROSS COUNTRY ROSTER

LANGLEY, British Columbia –
Trinity Western cross country coach Susan Northey announced the Spartans 14-person roster Wednesday.

The team will include six women and eight men and will compete in a variety of events ultimately leading up to the 2010 CIS Championship in Sherbrooke, Que. on November 13.

"The team is comprised of hard working individuals," Northey said. "If their work ethic continues ,they will keep getting better and better.  We are in the building stage and our goals for the season are commitment and hard work."

The Spartans team was formed after a tryout process that included competing in the Abbotsford Police Challenge 5km road race on Sep. 18 and the Whistler Spirit Run on Sep. 25.
