LANGLEY, British Columbia – The Trinity Western men’s basketball won its eighth game in its last nine outings as they completed a weekend sweep of Thompson Rivers with a 97-92 win Saturday at the Langley Events Centre.

ABBOTSFORD, British Columbia – Rebounding and foul shots proved to be the difference as the Trinity Western University men’s basketball team fell 88-72 to the University of the Fraser Valley Cascades Saturday night at the Abbotsford Entertainment and Sports Centre in Abbotsford, B.C. The win improves the Cascades to 10-5, while the loss drops the Spartans to 8-7.
SPARTANS GO TO SIX STRAIGHT WITH WIN OVER COUGARS

REGINA – The Trinity Western University men’s basketball team led from start to finish and used a balanced scoring attack and solid defence to defeat the University of Regina 104-68 Saturday night at the Centre for Kinesiology, Health & Sport in Regina, Sask. The Spartans, who had seven players in double-digits in scoring, get their sixth straight win to improve to 8-7, while the Cougars fall to 3-10 on the Canada West season.
SMITH DOMINATES TO LEAD SPARTANS OVER BOBCATS

BRANDON – Led by point guard Tristan Smith the Trinity Western University men’s basketball team defeated the Brandon University Bobcats 105-74 Friday night in Brandon, Manitoba. The win moves the Spartans to 7-6 and extends their winning streak to five games, while the loss drops the Bobcats to 5-8.
