TWU alumni and current Spartans head to Toronto for national title

LANGLEY, British Columbia – Trinity Western University men’s basketball alumni Stephen Janzen and Kyle Kooger paired with current players Trevor Nerdahl and David Bron to form the team “The Chess Club” that won the Vancouver open division of the NBA 3on3 – Ballers Unite tournament held June 17-18 at Simon Fraser University.

The team will now travel to Toronto to compete in the NBA 3on3 All-Star tournament. The tournament will be held July 22-23 at Toronto’s Exhibition Place.
