The Golden Bears will be going for their third straight championship tomorrow, while the Spartans will be looking to book-end the Bears two championship, with their own two having last won the Canada West title in 2007. TWU and Alberta have also met two times in the CIS gold medal match with the Bears winning 3-2 in 2005 and the Spartans winning 3-0 in 2006. |

The other semi-final will feature the No. 3 University of Alberta Golden Bears taking on the No. 9 Thompson Rivers University WolfPack at 2 p.m. With all four team having already qualified for the CIS championship next week at TRU in Kamloops, this weekend’s tournament will primarily serve as seeding for next week’s championship. |
