Joel JansenAssistant CoachJansen is in his eighth year as assistant coach with the Spartans men’s volleyball team. After graduating from Fraser Valley Christian High School in 1995, Jansen went to school at NCAA Division I Long Beach State. After a redshirt season in Long Beach, he transferred to York University in Toronto, where he played for two seasons, from 1996-1998. Following his two years at York, Jansen took his game overseas to play professionally in the Netherlands. After one year in the Netherlands, Jansen returned to B.C. to play for the Spartans, where he and TWU head coach Ben Josephson were teammates from 1999-2002. |  |
