LANGLEY, British Columbia - On March 6, 2011, the Trinity Western's men's volleyball team won the CIS national championship on home court. And the gold medal was the cap on a season no one will soon forget.

LANGLEY, B.C. – Fourth-year University of Calgary middle Graham Vigrass was named the CIS player of the year in men’s volleyball, Wednesday night at the Langley Events Centre while Trinity Western's Rudy Verhoeff was named a CIS Second Team All-Star.

LANGLEY, British Columbia – Trinity Western outside/middle hitter Rudy Verhoeff was named the Canada West nominee for the Dale Iwanoczko Award as top student-athlete Thursday. The fourth-year Religious Studies student has been one of the top offensive threats in the Canada West all year as he finished the regular season fourth in CW in kills per set (3.91), fourth in points (4.69/set) and 10th in blocks (1.04/set).

LANGLEY, British Columbia - The No. 4 Trinity Western men's volleyball team (13-5) will host the No. 8 Thompson Rivers WolfPack (9-9) in the opening round of the Canada West playoffs. The winner of the best-of-three series will travel to Edmonton to play in the Canada West Final Four.
