LANGLEY, British Columbia –
For the fourth time in the last eight men's volleyball CIS nationals, the Trinity Western Spartans and the Alberta Golden Bears will go head-to-head.

Previously the Spartans and Golden Bears have met in the 2005 Gold medal game (Alberta won 3-2 (29-27, 29-31, 27-25, 18-25, 15-13)), the 2006 Gold medal game (Trinity Western won 3-0 (25-21, 25-8, 25-16)) and the 2007 semifinal (Alberta won 3-2 (25-23, 23-25, 22-25, 25-23, 15-12)).

But this time, for the first time ever, the two teams will meet in the quarter-final. And SpartansTV previews the match-up set for 6:00 p.m. PST Friday at the Langley Events Centre.
