LANGLEY, British Columbia – The CIS Women’s Basketball Coaches Association proudly announced the organization had raised $112,898.03 for the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation in 2013-14 thanks to the seventh edition of its annual Shoot For The Cure initiative, making it the most successful edition to date.

LANGLEY, British Columbia – Future Trinity Western University women’s basketball players Jessie Brown (Langley, B.C.) and Tessa Ratzlaff (Abbotsford, B.C.) were honoured in their final high school tournament of the year this past weekend at the Langley Events Centre – the “Home of the Spartans”. Brown was named to the first all-star team for helping her Brookswood Bobcats win the BC High School Girls AAA championship, while Ratzlaff earned honourable mention for leading hear M.E.I. squad to a fifth place finish.

SPARTANS END SEASON WITH BATTLE AGAINST CASCADES

ABBOTSFORD, British Columbia – The Trinity Western Spartans were defeated 55-39 by the No. 7 Fraser Valley Cascades in the final Canada West conference game of the season Saturday night at UFV in Abbotsford, B.C. The win allows the Cascades to finish conference play at 17-5, while the loss ends the Spartans season at 5-17.
