Neil Turner

Assistant Coach

Neil is in his fourth season as assistant coach with the women’s soccer team. Neil is in charge of the program’s video and game analysis. Prior to joining the women’s soccer staff, Neil spent five years as an assistant coach with Spartans men’s soccer team. A TWU alumnus, Neil played soccer for the Spartans from 1986 to 1989, graduating in 1990 with a Bachelor of Arts in Physical Education and Biblical Studies and is currently completing a Master’s degree in Performance Analysis. He took over the men’s soccer head coaching duties in 1996, running the team until 1999 when Alan Alderson returned to TWU from Indiana Wesleyan. Turner is a Canadian Soccer Association “B” national coach and an NSCAA certified goalkeeper coach. He is a B.C. soccer coaching course conductor and assessor as well as a full-time instructor in human kinetics at Trinity Western University.
