Trinity Western's Daniela Gerig scored six goals in the Spartans' two victories this past weekend. The Fort Langley, B.C. native had five goals, including the match-winner, in the Spartans' 9-0 win over Regina on Friday and had a goal in TWU's 3-0 win over No. 3 Manitoba on Saturday. The perfect weekend keeps the Spartans the lone unbeaten team in Canada West at 4-0-2.

The second-year forward's five goals in a game set a new TWU record for goals in a game and are the most goals scored in a Canada West game in the last three seasons. Her weekend goal scoring explosion moves her into first place in Canada West in goals - with seven, and in goals-per-game at 1.17. She also sits in third place in points-per-game and fourth in points at nine.

The Human Kinetics major's seven goals puts her in third place in the CIS for total goals scored.

TWU, currently fourth place in Canada West while having two games in hand on the rest of the top three teams, will put its unbeaten status to the test this weekend with matches in Calgary (2-4-2) and Lethbridge (2-5-1).
