Donning their team colors, the Spartans shuffled out onto the ice rink at the Langley Events Centre on Sunday January 17th and dropped the puck for the Langley Chiefs' game against the Alberni Valley Bulldogs. The Chiefs invited the women's team to honour the Spartans' on winning their 3rd national soccer title, which they achieved in November when they defeated the Montreal Carabins 1-0 in the gold-medal match of the 2009 CIS women's soccer championship. |
