TIJUANA, Mexico – Trinity Western women’s volleyball setter Kelci French and her Canadian teammates finished in fourth place in the women’s Olympic qualifying tournament following a five-set loss to Puerto Rico 25-20, 20-25, 25-14, 23-25, 15-11 in the bronze medal match Saturday.

HAMILTON, Ontario – The Canada West bronze medalist Trinity Western women’s volleyball team lost its CIS national championship quarter-final match against Quebec champion Montreal 3-1 (25-22, 11-25, 25-21, 25-23) Friday afternoon at Burridge Gymnasium and will now play the rest of the tournament on the consolation side.

HAMILTON, Ontario – The No. 6 seeded Trinity Western women's volleyball team had its final full practice of the 2011-12 season and came off the court well-prepared for its quarter-final match-up against No. 3 Montreal. And while coach Ryan Hofer is well-aware of the dangers the Carabins possess, entering the Spartans second CIS championship in a row, he is focusing more on his own team than the opposition. HAMILTON, Ontario –The Trinity Western women's volleyball team arrived at McMaster University Tuesday and were greeted by a gymnasium that has plenty of good memories for Spartans volleyball. While the none of the players on the Spartans women's team have ever been inside Burridge Gymnasium, in 2006, the McMaster court was where Trinity Western's men's volleyball team won its first ever national championship in a three-set romp over Alberta. And this year, the Spartans women's side is trying to replicate that magic on the very same court.
