Jr. National Team Libero Commits to TWU
The Spartans women’s volleyball program signs Andrea Ball

LANGLEY, British Columbia – The Trinity Western University Spartans women’s volleyball program and interim head coach Ryan Hofer are pleased to announce the signing of Andrea Ball for the 2006-07 season.

This past year the MEI grad helped to lead her team to a Fraser Valley championship and a BC Provincial silver medal. For here efforts she was named MVP at the Fraser Valley Championship’s and named to the All-Star team at the Provincial Championships.

“I have had the pleasure of seeing Andrea develop for the past six years and not only is she one of the finest defenders and passers in the country she is also a perfect fit for TWU,” commented Hofer. “Andrea is also no stranger to winning as she has had a very successful career to this point.  She has proven that she is one of the best in the country and will be a welcome addition to the Spartan Family.”

The 5’8” Libero is currently a member of Canada’s Junior National Team and was recently named the Top Digger at the USA High Performance Championships.

In addition to here high school success Ball has helped her club team, the Fraser Valley Volleyball Club (FVVC) Blitz, win a provincial gold medal and a bronze medal at this years national championship.
