 | WOMEN’S VOLLEYBALL LOOKS FOR FIRST NATIONAL TITLE IN LAVAL Women's Volleyball - date: Mar. 1st, 2011 LANGLEY, British Columbia – After Trinity Western came within one set win of going to last year’s national championship – ultimately losing in the Canada West bronze medal game to Regina in a five-set thriller – the Spartans made no mistake this year as they escaped the do-or-die bronze medal match by winning their Final Four semifinal in four sets over Alberta and thus earned a spot in this year’s national championship. |
 | WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL SEEDED NO. 2 GOING INTO NATIONALS Women's Volleyball - date: Feb. 28th, 2011 OTTAWA (CIS) – The Trinity Western women’s volleyball team will go into the 2011 CIS national championship, hosted by Laval University, as the tournament’s No. 2 seed. The Spartans will play No. 7 seeded Western Ontario in their quarter-final match Friday, Mar. 4 at 3:00 p.m. PST. |
 | PERRIN NAMED ROOKIE OF THE YEAR; HOFER COACH OF THE YEAR Women's Volleyball - date: Feb. 25th, 2011 LANGLEY, British Columbia – After the Trinity Western women’s volleyball team’s best regular season in school history, finishing 2nd in Canada West with a 15-3 record, four different Spartans were honoured with conference awards and all-star nominations. |

The winner of the best-of-three series will travel to UBC to play in the Canada West Final Four. |

If not for a straight sets loss to now No. 7 ranked Alberta in the second leg of a road series in mid-November, TWU could have been a perfect 10-0 going into the break. |
