Spartans End Season in Edmonton

Langley, British Columbia –
The Trinity Western University women’s volleyball team end season with a 3-0 (25-11, 25-14, 25-17) loss to the University of Alberta Pandas Saturday night in Edmonton.

“It was a disappointing way to end the season, we did not play very well tonight,” said TWU head coach Carol Hofer. “But now it is time to focus on the future.”

Lies Verhoeff (3rd yr, middle, Calgary, AB) led the Spartans with 5 kills, while Angela Zawada led the Pandas with 15 kills.

The Spartans end the regular season with a record of 2-18, while the Pandas finish with a 7-13 record.
