new things comin'

I have two weeks.  I'm amazed at how long that amount of time seems in my brain and how short it is on paper.  I have my crisp new TWU agenda here in front of me and it is quickly filling up with errands to do and people to see before I leave for the LLC.  I'm happy to report that I'm in the transition from being awash in terror to feeling a tinge of excitement when I think of crossing the country for my temporary stay at the Booth Mansion in Ottawa (www.twu.ca/llc).  I'll be interning in the office of Brad Trost, M.P. where I'll be learning first hand how government works as well as trying my hand at learning about religious freedom and pro-life issues.  How does it fit with Christianity and Culture?  I think it fulfills the "Culture" side of my major quite well.
