The LLC

Today was a beautiful Sunday in Ottawa. The sun was out again! I went to a little church at the local YMCA called Calvary Fellowship. It was such an encouraging service and the members there were super welcoming. I think I'll head back to that church again, though there are other ones here that I'd like to try. There are some beautiful, old church buildings around and some of the churches have choirs and pipe organs. 

Yesterday I "organized my life". I've been meaning to do that for the past while, but "never got around to it". Finally, everything is in my planner from internship hours, to readings, to assignments, and events, and classes. I'm behind. There's no doubt about it. I have a ton of work to do, especially for my directed study. But, I WILL get it all done because I always do. 

This evening we're having a potluck here at the LLC. Breanne and I decided we would make soft pretzels using the bread machine that we have in the kitchen. We didn't realize that it would take TWO HOURS+ for the dough to be ready in the machine. Oops. So, they're definitely going to be late, but I was determined to use my yeast because it was $5 for a little jar and I had bought it solely for this purpose. I guess I'll just have to make cinnamon buns or yummy focaccia bread to use it up. Dang. ;P 

Well, I best get to some reading!! It's going to be a crazy week.
